Events

One scan, and your event is
on their calendar

Stop telling people to "save the date" and hoping they remember. A calendar QR code adds the event -- date, time, location, and all -- directly to their phone. Works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and Outlook. For a complete walkthrough, see our guide to paperless event check-in with QR codes.

Built for real events

Adds to any calendar app

Uses the universal iCalendar format (.ics) that every calendar app understands. iPhone, Android, desktop -- it just works.

Include location and description

Add a venue address, a Google Maps link, or a detailed description. Everything your guests need arrives with the calendar invite. You can also create a location QR code to help attendees navigate to the venue.

Supports all-day events

Conferences, birthdays, deadlines -- not everything has a specific start time. Toggle all-day mode and the event spans the full date.

How it works

Enter your event details

Fill in the event name, date, start and end time, location, and an optional description. The editor shows you a live preview as you type.

Customize the design

Pick colors that match your event branding, add a logo to the center of the QR code, or choose from pre-made templates. Make it yours.

Download as PNG or SVG and place it on printed invitations, event posters, email signatures, or ticket designs. Guests scan once and they are set. Need a WiFi QR code for the venue too? Generate one so attendees can connect to the event network instantly.

Frequently asked questions
Which calendar apps does it work with?

The QR code generates an iCalendar (.ics) event, which is supported by Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Yahoo Calendar, and virtually every other calendar app on every platform.

Can I include a location or map link?

Yes. The event form has a dedicated location field. You can enter a street address, a venue name, or a full Google Maps URL. The calendar app will display it as the event location.

Does it support all-day events?

Absolutely. Toggle the all-day option in the editor and the event will span the entire date without a specific start or end time. Great for conferences, holidays, or deadlines.

Can I create recurring events?

The QR code creates a single event instance. For recurring events, we recommend creating the first occurrence and noting the recurrence in the description, or sharing a calendar subscription link via a URL QR code instead. For large events that need unique codes per attendee, our bulk QR code generator can produce hundreds of codes from a spreadsheet.
