Most happy customers would leave a review if asked — they just never get around to searching for your business. A QR code removes that step: they point a camera, the review box opens, and they type. Paste your Google Business review link below to generate a print-quality code and a ready-to-print poster, free and without signing up.
Create Your Review QRPaste the link customers use to review you. QRGen accepts the direct search.google.com/local/writereview link from your Business Profile as well as a Google Maps place link.
In your Google Business Profile, choose Ask for reviews and copy the short link. Alternatively, open your business in Google Maps, tap Share, and copy the place link.
Drop the link into the field above. QRGen checks that it really is a Google review or Maps place link before it builds anything, so a mistyped address cannot reach your printer.
Choose a dark foreground and light background that fit your brand while preserving strong contrast. The preview updates in your browser as you make changes.
Type the name you want printed on the poster. It appears above the code on the Scan to review us on Google template so customers know exactly who they are reviewing.
Take PNG for screens, SVG or PDF for print, or the poster PDF to put straight on a wall. Scan the finished artwork with a real phone before ordering a print run.
A clear code in the right place is easier to scan and earns more reviews than a decorative code customers cannot use.
Print the QR code at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) for close-range scanning on receipts, table tents, and counter cards.
Use a dark QR pattern on a light, plain background. Avoid low-contrast color pairs, gradients, or artwork behind the code.
Leave clear space around every edge and test the final printed piece from the distance customers will actually scan it.
The moment to ask is when the bill arrives and the meal is still fresh in mind. A code on the receipt, bill folder, or table tent catches that moment. Pair it with your menu QR code so the same table stand does both jobs.
Appointments end at a counter with a short wait while payment is processed — a natural pause for a review. A small card by the card machine converts that dead time without anyone having to make an awkward verbal ask.
Reviews are one of the strongest local search ranking signals, and recent ones count for more than old ones. A permanent code at the till keeps a steady trickle coming instead of a burst once a year.
Searching for the right business, picking the right branch, and finding the review button is where most people give up. A QR code lands them directly on the review box, which is usually the difference between intent and an actual review.
No account, no subscription, no watermark, and no per-scan fee. The code is generated in your browser and encodes your link directly, so it keeps working whether or not you ever come back here. See the API docs to generate codes in bulk from your own systems.
Modern iPhone and Android cameras read QR codes natively, with no app to install. Explore other QR code use cases for the rest of your customer touchpoints.
Placement matters more than design. The best spots catch customers when they are happy and have a free hand. Work down this checklist and pick the two or three that match how your business actually operates.
On the receipt or bill folderPeak satisfaction, and the customer is already holding it. The single highest-converting placement for restaurants and cafes.
At the payment counterA small standing card beside the card machine fills the pause while payment is processed.
On table tentsWorks during the meal, not only at the end. Keep it separate from the menu code so the two are not confused.
On the exit door or windowThe last thing customers see on the way out, and it catches passers-by who already know you.
In packaging and delivery bagsA printed insert reaches customers who never set foot in the shop.
On appointment and loyalty cardsIdeal for salons, clinics, and repair shops where customers leave with something in hand.
In email footers and invoicesThe same code works on screen. Customers can scan it from a second device or tap through.
Never behind a filterAsk every customer, not only the ones you expect to be positive. Screening for good reviews breaks Google policy and risks your profile.
Generated live from your link and business name. Use Print Poster for a quick office print, or Poster PDF for a print-shop-ready A4 file.
Point your phone camera at the code.
It takes less than a minute. Thank you!
Open your Google Business Profile, choose Ask for reviews, and copy the review link. Paste that link into QRGen, customize the colors, generate the code, and download it for print or digital display.
Paste the direct Google review link or a Google Maps place link into this generator. QRGen validates the destination and creates a static URL QR code that customers can scan to open your review page.
Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile, select Ask for reviews, and copy the supplied link. Add it above, optionally enter your business name, then download the QR code or printable poster.
Yes. There is no signup, no watermark, and no limit on how many codes you create. PNG, SVG, PDF, and the printable poster are all free to download and use commercially.
No. This tool creates a static QR code, which means your review link is encoded in the pattern itself and cannot be re-pointed after printing. Your Google review link does not normally change, so this is rarely a problem. If you need a code you can edit later, read our guide to dynamic versus static QR codes.
Asking customers for honest reviews is allowed, and Google provides review links for exactly this purpose. What is not allowed is offering discounts, gifts, or other incentives in exchange for reviews, or filtering so that only happy customers are asked. Put the code where every customer can see it and let people write what they think.
For a table tent, counter card, or receipt, about 2 to 3 cm across is enough because people scan from close range. For window or wall posters, allow roughly one centimetre of code for every ten centimetres of scanning distance. Download the SVG or PDF for large prints, since both stay sharp at any size.
